CONFIDE was founded in 2023 by Dr. Rébar Jaff, a Canadian senior executive with two decades of international experience in governance and public administration reform, trade and export promotion, economic diversification, foreign direct investment, media and public relations, global communication campaigns, sustainable development, and humanitarian emergencies.

His distinguished career has spanned the United Nations Secretariat in New York and field offices worldwide, the OECD in Paris, and numerous advisory roles with governments, private firms, and NGOs across the MENA region (incl. the GCC), Europe, the Caribbean, and Central and East Asia.

 

Dr. Jaff has led major humanitarian frontline operations, including UNHCR’s largest protection programme in Iraq during the ISIL crisis, and most recently served as Secretary to the Advisory Board of United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres in New York.
